Dragon

Dragon is a comparison for fighting by Limhi’s people and by Lamanites led by Zerahemnah: “like dragons did they fight” and “did fight like dragons” (Mosiah 20:11; Alma 43:44). Limhi’s people fought for their lives, wives, and children (Mosiah 20:11).

Dragons are “in their pleasant palaces”. Wild beasts of the islands cry “in their desolate houses” (2 Nephi 23:22).

The arm of the Lord is asked, “Art thou not he that hath cut Rahab, and wounded the dragon” (2 Nephi 8:9).
