Moriancumer Tents are the tents in which Jared and his brethren lived after reaching “that great sea which divideth the lands.” They pitched their tents there and called the place Moriancumer (Ether 2:13).
Jared and his brethren “dwelt in tents upon the seashore for the space of four years.” At the end of four years, the Lord came to the brother of Jared in a cloud and talked with him for three hours (Ether 2:13-14).
