Valleys are low places among the land. A foretold group would “rest all of them in the desolate valleys,” as well as in holes of rocks, thorns, and bushes (2 Nephi 17:19).
Samuel said that “there shall be many mountains laid low, like unto a valley”. He also said that “many places which are now called valleys which shall become mountains” would have great height (Helaman 14:23).
