Wheat is a seed cultivated by Zeniff’s people in their land. They “began to till the ground” with “seeds of corn, and of wheat, and of barley” (Mosiah 9:9).
Jesus Christ told his disciples to “watch and pray always lest ye enter into temptation.” He said Satan desired “that he may sift you as wheat” (3 Nephi 18:18).
