Wound Care is the binding, dressing, and care of people wounded in conflict. Limhi’s men found the king of the Lamanites “having been wounded and left upon the ground,” then “bound up his wounds” and brought him before Limhi (Mosiah 20:12-13).
After the Lamanites fled, Helaman ordered that his wounded men be taken from among the dead and that “their wounds should be dressed”. Two hundred of Helaman’s two thousand and sixty men had fainted from loss of blood, and after caring for the wounded, his army buried its dead and the Lamanite dead (Alma 57:24-28).
