Zerahemnah’s scalp is the scalp taken from Zerahemnah by one of Moroni’s soldiers after Zerahemnah rushed forward to slay Moroni. The soldier smote Zerahemnah so that “he took off his scalp and it fell to the earth,” and Zerahemnah withdrew into the midst of his soldiers (Alma 44:12-14).
The soldier took up the scalp “from off the ground by the hair,” placed it on the point of his sword, and stretched it forth before Zerahemnah’s soldiers. He identified it as “the scalp of your chief” while calling on them to deliver up their weapons of war and depart with a covenant of peace (Alma 44:12-14).
